The annual Climate Innovation Challenge (CIC) prompts students to present their innovative climate resilience projects in short videos. This process gives students an opportunity to have a voice in the plans for their own futures which makes the climate crisis seem more manageable and the solutions more achievable.
It is recommended that CIC participants use the curriculum provided, but it is not required. Students can register either independently or through an educator.
We hold a showcase each year where all entries are judged by a panel of scientists, environmental professionals, advocates, and media professionals based on content and presentation. Participation is FREE and outstanding entries have the opportunity to earn scholarships and cash prizes!
