Shaira Nasser, a proud New Yorker, is currently residing in Brooklyn, New York, and attends Brooklyn Technical High School. As a senior in the Environmental major and with a desire to take this major further in college, she wishes to spread awareness to her classmates while achieving monumental success within the climate education curriculum and greener solutions. One of her dream jobs, in an ideal world, is an organic farmer/gardener in a renovated abandoned parking lot, but she’ll stick to being a Garden Apprentice in the Brooklyn Botanical Garden and a member of the Climate and Resilience Education Task Force’s Youth Steering Committee for now. A part of CAVU’s Youth Advisory Board, she’s advancing her environmental journey one step at a time and is looking forward to a great experience.
