Kelly M. Trujillo, Ph.D.

A native of Santa Fe, Dr. Trujillo has been a staunch advocate for STEM education in the state of New Mexico for many years.  Currently, he serves as Associate Dean at the Santa Fe Community College, where he oversees programs in both the health and basic sciences.  A scientist himself, Dr. Trujillo is an accomplished biochemist, having conducted research in the field of genomic instability and DNA repair mechanisms for over 25 years. Dr. Trujillo has been recognized as an outstanding educator, researcher, STEM education advocate, and champion for diversity, equity, and inclusion in STEM careers.
