Briar Basino
Briar studied poetry and botany at Florida State University which led them to fire ecology in California, science communication along Florida’s Gulf Coast, and graphic design supporting social justice issues. Briar braids these skills as Media Director at CAVU.
Outside CAVU, Briar volunteers with the Transgender Resource Center of New Mexico and the Española Valley Humane Society. They also spend time in mountain meadows, at the water’s edge, playing the cello, and growing food and flowers.
